Save The Date. Ettijahat Launches the 4th Edition of the Laboratory of Arts and Raises the Number of Grants to 20 Production Grants
Ettijahat in cooperation with The Goethe-Institut has announced that it will start receiving applications for production grants awarded under the fourth edition of the Laboratory of Arts: Syrian Artists Support Programme, carried out in cooperation with the Goethe Institute, as from April 15, 2017 until June 15, 2017.
This year, on the occasion of Ettijahat Foundation's fifth anniversary, and due to the large number of applications received last year, the Laboratory of Arts programme is doubling the number of annual grants to 20. The value of each is up to 5000 USD. The programme is aimed at artists and artistic initiatives wherever they are located in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, as well as the countries of diaspora in Europe.
The program targets Syrian artists and cultural entities and seeks to support their creative practices in all forms of artistic expression under the following categories: Cinema and Animation; Theatre, Dance, and Performance Art; Visual Arts, including Fine Arts, Installations, and Graphic Design; Music; as well as Creative Writing, which is carried out in partnership with Mamdouh Adwan Publishing House.
