Launching Moussem Cities: Damascus from Beirut. Two Ettijahat-Supported Projects are listed on Brussels Program

Theatre Director Wael Ali and visual artist Hiba Alansari, both of whom are supported by Ettijahat's Laboratory of Art Program, will participate in the new edition of the Cities Festival, organized by Moussem Nomadic Arts Centre. This year the Festival will take place in February 2019. It will celebrate Damascus and will be held in Brussels.

Wael Ali and Chrystele Khodr will perform their play Temporary Stay, while Hiba Alansari will present her installation and performance The Math Book on 15th and 16th February at the KAAISTUDIO'S Theater.

Moussem Cities: Damascus was launched in Beirut on 14th and 15th January. It was organized by Ettijahat support from the Heinrich Böll Foundation-Middle East.

The following performances were among those held in the station art space: Joufoun (Eyelids), a performance by Rana Karam; Sweet Evening, a concert with the musicians Khaled Omran, Tarek Khuluki, Lynn Adib, Dani Shukri, Ari Sarhan, Narik Abajian, and Nizar Omran; and extracts from Heaven, a performance by the ZOUKAK Theater Group, which includes Maya Zbib, Lamia Abi Azar and Danya Hammoud.
