Expanding Sanad services to include residents in the Arab region

As of the beginning of 2021, ‘Sanad’ has opened its window to receive requests for support from all Syrian artists residing in the Arab region as a form of response to the growing need for alternative sources of protection and stability in the lives of art producers residing in the Arab region.  Legal advice continues to be available in Lebanon in cooperation with NGO Legal Agenda with support From the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation.

Since the launch of Sanad in early 2020, fifty artists and workers in the cultural sector have obtained legal support services. Forms of support have included in-kind support (legal status settlement, advisory support and legal representation), in addition to help for people registering companies and technical entities, and consultation related to intellectual property issues.
