Applications Continue to Be Accepted for the Borderline Offensive Project in Partnership with Ettijahat

Borderline Offensive continues to receive applications until February 14, 2018. It is a joint artistic project run by Ettijahat that includes a number of organizations. The project runs between 2017 and 2020 and targets about 20 artists in Europe, especially artists newly arriving to Europe from different parts of the world. The project aims to raise questions on the concepts of society, art, borders, stereotypes, censorship and freedom of expression. It also seeks to explore the ability of art, specifically cynical art, to deal with the difficult questions posed by the conflict between cultures in Europe and the world, and to promote understanding and cohesion between different global communities.

The inaugural meeting of Borderline Offensive was held on October 16-20, 2017 in the city of Gabrovo, Bulgaria, at the House of Humor and Stairs Museum.
