Open Call to Write Opinion Articles on the Challenges of Cultural Work

Ettijahat is receiving applications to write opinion articles which will be published on Ettijahat’s website as part of the ‘Scribes Series’ which is published in the framework of the Cultural Priorities in Syria programme.

The series aims to shed a light on a range of issues and challenges that is in the way of Syrian cultural work. These issues are explored through articles written by a group of experts and cultural activists that create knowledge on a group of obstacles that stand in the way of current cultural work.

This activity is aimed at interested individuals and institutions from the cultural field, both Arabic and English speakers alike, and hopes that this research as a whole can open a deep discussion between the cultural actors and those interested in the issues of Syrian cultural work.

For all those wishing to write in a series of Scribes in Arabic or English, please send an initial idea of the proposal to info@ettijahat.org for discussion and, if approved, the dates of delivery and physical meeting will be discussed.
